For this project I used Vanna's Choice yarn in Olive with a size G hook. The following pattern works well with thicker yarn (and can easily be made larger by adding extra Rnd 2's).
The ear pattern can be found here. There were a lot of different 'styles' of ears, but I liked these because they were easy to shape and sew on the beanie.
I was pretty happy with how the hat turned out, although if I make it again, I would sew the ears on a bit more straight out to the side. We threw our friends a co-ed Star Wars baby shower, it turned out great (more to come on that) and they loved the baby yoda hat.
